Just like you, my life is busy. Juggling it all can feel like a tightrope walk–hard to balance and a skill that takes some practice. This blog is about “ sharing mom hacks to make room for mommy time”. The NP side of me also wants to help aspiring and new NP’s in their roles.
As the Alaska Mom Life founder, we live in the beautiful state of Alaska and I love sharing posts about how we explore this wonderful state. We also like to travel, so I’ll share the joys and challenges we have while traveling with two children.
I just wanted to let you know a few things about me and maybe some things we share in common. For starters, I like coffee and quiet mommy time. I love my purses and shoes (who doesn’t?) and watching movies. My favorite way to ‘treat myself’ is by going to the spa.
I have a passion for health, wellness, fitness, and finding ways to make life easier (aka “mom hacks”) so I that I can be my best at fulfilling the roles I love–mom, wife, and NP.
More about me:
- I strive to be environment-friendly (constant reminder to myself)
- We use essential oils at home
- I’m the family tech person
- Backburner scuba diver
- Two things that must happen in the morning (vitamins and workout OR COFFEE)
Check out my blog (Alaska Mom Life) and chat about lifestyle subjects, travel, NP stuff, health and wellness, tech finds, recipes and DIY, and of course mom-centric topics. I’ll also give time and energy saving tips (who doesn’t need that?) so us busy women can make room for all important self-care (how can you take care of everyone else if you fall apart?).
My ultimate goal on this site is to also extend courses in health, wellness, productivity and time management so all women can have the important education to help take care of themselves and their families. Check back frequently so you don’t miss new posts!
